When I first heard Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson was going to play Batman, I was like, "Great, maybe I'll actually have a single shot at caring about the next Batman movie." Apparently, the rest of the internet wasn't quite as sold on the idea. Like, he was not Twitter's first choice for the role. But the first footage of our boy Robert in his new little superhero costume has arrived, and I'm here to say that dammit... I was right.

Robert Pattinson has donned the Batsuit. Shoot is officially underway on The Batman, the Warner Bros franchise reboot.
Matt Reeves is helming the pic, and the director tweeted an image of the film’s first clapperboard, which revealed that they are kicking things off with ‘scene 17’.
