Robert De Niro, Chris Rock Join New David O. Russell Movie

Phoebe Dynevor is opening up about working with Rege-Jean Page on Bridgerton.

Julie Anne Robinson, the director of the Bridgerton pilot, is opening up about how they found the show’s leading actors, Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor.

Phoebe Dynevor and her Bridgerton onscreen flame, Regé-Jean Page, have developed an incredibly close bond since the major success of the Netflix series. Although there is still no word on whether season two is officially happening, Phoebe, who plays Daphne Bridgerton, and Regé-Jean, who plays Simon Bassett, are staying in touch as much as they can. “Unfortunately now he’s off in Los Angeles, but we check in with each other a lot,” the British actress, 25, shared with The Guardian.

“Bridgerton” stars Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Bridgerton) and Rege-Jean Page (Simon Basset) paid a virtual visit to Global’s “The Drew Barrymore Show”  to discuss how they prepared for their respective roles.

David O. Russell seems to have tapped most of Hollywood for his upcoming new feature film as Deadline reports a massive new wave of casting additions for the New Regency project.

previously reported that the film would be about the unlikely relationship between a doctor and a lawyer.New Regency’s Arnon Milchan is producing the film along with Matthew Budman and Anthony Katagas.This is Russell’s first film since 2015’s “Joy,” which starred Jennifer Lawrence.

Russell’s forthcoming feature for New Regency, Deadline has confirmed that Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola have all joined the starry ensemble.
