Sophie Ellis-Bextor has publicly apologised to Robbie Williams for being 'cruel and rude' after an old clip resurfaced. The clip in question was shown in 49 year old Robbie's recent Netflix documentary, titled Robbie Williams, and it shows a 19 year old Sophie being asked about Robbie during an interview with Jo Wiley. The Murder on the Dancefloor singer says: "To me he hasn't got any charm about him, why people embrace him, I find it baffling and it makes me a bit sad really," to which Jo replies: "His voice is not fantastic." On Sunday, 12 November, Sophie, now 44, took to Instagram to share a video as she spoke about her words, made back in 1998, as she revealed that she had received messages calling her out for being "unkind" since Robbie's documentary aired. In the caption, she wrote: "In 1998, aged 19, I was very rude about @robbiewilliams and the clip of me being horrid is included in his brilliant Netflix documentary.
