The Kardashian family was partying at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday (May 2) just as a jury reached a verdict in Blac Chyna’s $100 million defamation case against them.

A jury on Monday gave a sweeping win to the Kardashian family in former reality TV star Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against them. The Los Angeles jury found that none of the members of the famous family defamed Chyna, nor did any interfere with her contract by convincing the E! network to cancel her reality show "Rob & Chyna." The four Kardashian defendants attended nearly the entire trial, but when the verdict was read all were in New York at the Met Gala, where this year’s theme was "Gilded Glamour." Chyna was in court for the verdict.

The former "Rob & Chyna" star, 35, claimed during testimony in a defamation suit filed by Chyna, 33, against the Kardashian clan that the former exotic dancer physically abused him. He said their relationship developed so quickly, he was blindsided when he learned she was pregnant with their daughter Dream, who is now 5.

Corey Gamble testified that he witnessed an alleged physical altercation between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian.On Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Gamble was called to the stand by the Kardashian-Jenner family's lawyer, Michael Rhodes, and testified that on the morning of Dec. 15, he and girlfriend Kris Jenner were awakened by a call in the early morning hours. Kris Jenner continued her dramatic second-day testimony Friday in Blac Chyna’s $100 million defamation lawsuit over what the ex-fiancée of Rob Kardashian believes was a coup by the Kardashian clan to cancel her reality show, "Rob & Chyna."  The show aired on E!, and Chyna, 33, filed suit in 2017 after she said the show was given the green light for a Season 2 but was called off after Rob, 35, and the former exotic dancer had a dust-up. "They had an option that they didn’t exercise," Jenner, wearing a pastel suit, said on the stand. "[Rob] never got a letter.There was nothing to cancel." During her testimony Thursday, Kris was questioned at length about the violent altercation between Rob and Chyna that led to their breakup and a restraining order against Rob.

Rob Kardashian and his 5-year-old daughter, Dream, it's business as usual on the home front amid Rob and his family squaring off with Blac Chyna in court.A source tells ET that Rob has been at home taking care of Dream throughout the trial, which has so far lasted a week. The source said Rob is Dream's main caretaker as he has her six days a week.
