Olivia Wilde revives ultra low-rise trend and showcases rock hard abs after gruelling gym session

Olivia Wilde has clearly been putting the work in at the gym as she showed off her rock hard abs in a tiny crop top and ultra low-slung leggings as she left the gym.The 39 year old mum of two looked like she was riding the endorphin high as she flashed a smile whilst crossing the street in her navy gym set, over which she wore a cream light padded coat. Her dark blonde hair was scraped back into a ponytail, whilst her face was flushed from a gruelling workout, with not a scrap of makeup on.

Study finds 50 per cent of vinyl buyers in US don’t have a record player

Luminate, which recently published its Top Entertainment Trends for 2023 report, “50 per cent of consumers who have bought vinyl in the past 12 months own a record player, compared to 15per cent per cent among music listeners overall” [via Music Business Worldwide].Luminate appears to have credited those statistics largely to “superfans” whom it defines as “music listeners who spend above average (median) time AND money on music, actively discover new music, participate in music-related activities on social media, and plan on attending a live music event in the next 12 months”.The majority of music revenue (84 per cent in 2022) still comes from streaming services. That suggests that many of these “superfans” buy vinyl as part of merch – not necessarily listening to it.The news follows vinyl outselling CD in the UK for first time in 35 years, according to figures released by the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) in January.Overall music sales increased by three per cent in 2022 to almost £2billion, which is the highest figure since 2003 and nearly double the level of their low point in 2013.According to the published figures, physical sales fell slightly by 3.8 per cent to £280.4million, but levelled out as the vinyl format showed sustained growth while CD declined.Vinyl album sales grew 11 per cent to £150.5million, while CD album sales in contrast fell 17.4 per cent to £124million, the first time that vinyl has outsold CD by value since 1987.

Bill Hader Is Open to Playing Stefon Again, One Year After Saying He Might Retire the Character Due to Being ‘Seen as a Stereotype’

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Bill Hader is coming around to the idea of playing Stefon again. In a new interview with The Independent, the “Barry” creator said he “probably would” play the beloved “Saturday Night Live” character again despite telling The Guardian a year ago he’d probably be retiring the character because of stereotypes. Stefon is a flamboyant gay man who regularly appeared on “Weekend Update” to give depraved and deranged recommendations to tourists about things to do in New York City. “I’ve never had any gay man come up to me and be offended that I [played Stefon],” Hader told The Independent. “I’ve always had people come up and say how much they love those roles. Honestly, I don’t know why I said [I wouldn’t play him anymore]. I probably would play him. I think just being asked the question at that point in time kind of made me anxious.”

‘New York, New York’ Review: New Kander and Ebb Musical Is a Love Letter to Big City Gusto

Naveen Kumar If there is a megawatt star in “New York, New York,” the new musical from Broadway titans John Kander and the late Fred Ebb (with additional lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda), it’s right there in the title. Aside from the occasional f-bomb and pantomimed scurry of rats, the show that opened at Broadway’s St. James Theatre is a love letter to Manhattan so unabashed that its vibe might be best expressed in cityscape and heart-eye emojis. Cynical? These New Yorkers? Fuhgeddaboudit! Though inspired by the 1977 film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro and Liza Minnelli, “New York, New York” is more accurately described as a musical-length rhapsody on the dreams crooned out in its title song, made famous by Frank Sinatra and naturally performed here as a big-band finale turned audience singalong. A crowded cast of characters has come to chase their dreams, and most of them want to be musicians.

Millennials Spend More Time Playing Video Games Than Gen Z and Teens, New Study Finds

Jennifer Maas TV Business Writer Millennials are the largest untapped market that video game companies should be focusing on, per a new study from Fandom, which finds that the generation spends more time gaming than both Gen Z and teens.
