Pop Idol star turned West End actor, 37, is thought to be among them with an insider stating: "Gareth loves the show and is always looking for new challenges so when the opportunity came up he couldn't turn it down.

Other cast members in the new series include Jake Austin Walker, Jordan Rodrigues, Zuri Reed, Antonio Cipriano and Lyndon Smith. At the close of the trailer, we also get a look at a returning “National Treasure” favorite, Justin Bartha.The original “National Treasure” debuted back in 2004.
