Rihanna's baby son's unique name finally revealed after almost a year, documents show

The unique name Rihanna has chosen for her almost one year old son has finally been revealed. According to a birth certificate obtained by MailOnline, the son that Rihanna, 34, shares with rapper A$AP Rocky is named RZA Athelston Mayers.The unusual moniker is inspired by New York-based hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, who both Rihanna and A$AP - real name Rakim Mayers - are thought to be huge fans of.
The stage name of the lead vocalist in the group is RZA - and it appears that Rihanna and A$AP named their child in tribute to him. 'Athelston' is believed to be A$AP's middle name.
Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with her second child, gave birth to her first in May last year, and whilst she's slowly introduced him to the world by means of a cute TikTok video, Vogue cover shoot and various outings, she's not yet officially revealed his name. She has, however, dropped a series of hints about the inspiration for the tot's name, as she's often been seen dressed in clothing with Wu-Tang Clan representations on it over the past year - as early as May 13, 2022, which is around the week she is thought to have given birth.The megastar once spoke about why she and her beau hadn't announced their son's name to the world - as she appeared to cite their busy schedules.
"We just didn’t get around to it yet, really. We’ve just been living," she told Associated Press late last year.
