Jo Koy had a lot to celebrate while attending the premiere of his film,  The actor and stand-up comedian caught up with ET on the red carpet Tuesday and revealed where he stands with his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Handler. When asked about transitioning out of a relationship and back into a friendship with the fellow comic, Koy said, «It's great. It's always been that way, so it's the next chapter.» Speaking of the support he has from Handler, Koy continued, «We're great friends and that's how it will always be.

A former Coronation Street star has announced he is set to step in as the host of Countdown later this year. Comedian Les Dennis, who starred as Michael Rodwell in the ITV soap between 2014 and 2016 will present the Channel 4 game show this August.

Les Dennis has officially been unveiled as the new host of Countdown following Anne Robinson's final episode airing earlier this month. Collin Murray temporarily replaced Anne until the end of this year, but Les will step into the hosting role for a limited time through the month of August. With the star previously presenting Family Fortunes between 1987 and 2002, Les has got bags of experience under his belt and will bring his own style to the show as it continues its transitional period.

Sam Fender was last night (July 23) joined on stage by Shaun Williamson – who played Barry in Eastenders – at Truck Festival. Jo Koy addressed his split from Chelsea Handler on Friday, saying that he and his ex-girlfriend remain great friends. «The love is still there,» he told TMZ's cameras at LAX airport in Los Angeles. «We've always been great friends.» Koy and Handler announced their breakup on Monday just before their one-year anniversary.
