Richard Wilkins breaks silence on coronavirus diagnosis

Prince Charles is opening up about his experience with coronavirus after being diagnosed with the virus last month. The 71-year-old Prince of Wales experienced «mild symptoms» as a result of the virus, but after seven days of self-isolation, the next in line to the British throne is feeling better and no longer in isolation. 

Prince Charles, 71, has spoken out on his coronavirus diagnosis after coming out of self-isolation on Monday in a new video message shared on the Clarence House Instagram account. In an uplifting video filmed at his residence in Scotland, Birchall, The Prince of Wales said the pandemic is a “strange, frustrating and often distressing experience”, but praised key and NHS workers who are tirelessly fighting against the virus sweeping the nation.

He added: "I don't know. I'm gargling with salt and water..."

On March 20, a few hours after Andy Cohen announced through Variety that he was moving his Bravo talk show “Watch What Happens Live” to his West Village apartment, he tested positive for Covid-19, and had to scrap that plan.

Prince Charles has been in contact with both Prince Harry and Prince William amid his coronavirus diagnosis. Royal reporter Chris Ship confirmed the news on Twitter, writing "Prince Charles has spoken to both his sons. William in Norfolk and Harry in Canada."
