Richard Madeley proposed to his now-wife Judy Finnigan while they were both still married, and it was only three weeks after they started dating.The Good Morning Britain presenter and I'm A Celeb star experienced love at first sight when he met Judy, 34, and the pair hit it off straight away.The iconic couple first got to know each other when they started working together at Granada television 40 years ago, but both stars were unhappily married at the time. Judy also had six year old twin sons, and while she said they were her "priority" 26 year old Richard knew he wanted to wed his co-worker after their third date.

Speaking on the White Wine Question Time podcast alongside her husband, Judy opened up on the beginning of their relationship, which also saw her struggle to accept there was an eight-year age gap between.
"There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that my boys, who were six - two six year old boys were my absolute priority and they had to be," the presenter explained. "It was clear things were very, very serious," the star insisted. But while sparks were flying between the pair, their colleagues at Granada were convinced the relationship was just a fling at first.
It sent shockwaves round the studio when the couple announced they were divorcing their partners. Richard had been married to his first wife Lynda Hooley for five years, while Judy chose to split up with journalist David Henshaw, whom she'd been with for 12 years.
