Rex Orange County and Tyler, the Creator reunite on “Open a Window”

This Friday, March 11, Rex Orange County will drop his fourth studio album, Who Cares?, via Sony Music. The English crooner announced the forthcoming record in January with its lead single, "Keep It Up," and dropped its second offering, "Amazing," last month. He's now shared the record's third and final pre-release cut, "Open a Window" featuring Tyler, the Creator.
The new song is a bright and sensuous reminder to take a breather and focus on self-care when life is too much to handle. It's a mantra Rex has taken to heart these past few years, he told Zane Lowe today on Apple Music 1 Radio. "I wouldn't be able to come give you anything if I didn't take some time for myself. It's been a little minute, but I am so happy, I can't even tell you. I feel great.
I feel healthy. I feel ready." Tyler's short but show-stealing verse is a full-circle achievement for Rex, who rose to prominence partly due to his contributions on Tyler's 2017 opus, Flower Boy. In his interview with Lowe, Rex discussed a phone call with Tyler that inspired him to ignore the haters and believe in his work: "He just told me like, 'The thing is man, there's nothing, there's no such thing as good or bad.
