Radio 1’s Big Weekend adds Lorde, Sam Fender and more to 2022 line-up

TikTok star Francis Bourgeois was in attendance at Sam Fender‘s recent Wembley show, where he was spotted on stage doing a tailwhip on a scooter.Fender is currently on tour in support of his new record ‘Seventeen Going Under’, having played two dates at London’s Wembley Arena on April 1 and 2.

Glastonbury 2022 go on sale this evening (March 24), with ticket and coach packages available to registered fans.This year’s festival, which will be held from June 22-26, has already sold out after deposits that were initially paid for Glastonbury 2020 were rolled over for a second year following the cancellation of the 2021 festival.Anyone who had paid a deposit had until March 7 to pay off the remaining balance (£230 + £5 booking fee).However, any returned tickets will be available here tonight as part of a package that involves travel to and from the festival by coach.The sale will be limited to 2 tickets per transaction, to reflect the limited number of seats available per coach. Sam Fender has announced an outdoor headline show in Yorkshire – find all the details below.The ‘Seventeen Going Under’ artist will perform at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday, May 27 as part of his 2022 tour, which kicks off in Nottingham later this month (March 20).Fender will play in front of an audience of 8,000 fans at the North Yorkshire seaside gig. Tickets go on general sale at 9am GMT this Friday (March 11) – you can purchase yours from here.Fans can also sign up to access a pre-sale, which will take place at 9am GMT this Wednesday (March 9).
