EXCLUSIVE: Screen Media has acquired North American rights to the psychological thriller The Immaculate Room, from writer-director Mukunda Michael Dewil (Vehicle 19). The Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment company has slated the title, starring Emile Hirsch (Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, Into the Wild), Kate Bosworth (Before I Wake, Still Alice), Ashley Greene (Bombshell, The Twilight Saga) and M. Emmet Walsh (Blood Simple, Blade Runner), for a day-and-date release in the second half of this year.

Fry, Leela and Bender are set for more 31st century adventures. After months of negotiations, Hulu has finalized deals for 20 new episodes of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s cult animated sci-fi comedy Futurama for a 2023 premiere on the streamer. The studio is planning a day-and-date release in April. “9 Bullets” centers on a showgirl (Headey), who risks everything when she rescues a young boy after his family is murdered by her ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be the local crime-boss (Worthington).

CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) — British rock band The Who will play their first concert in the Cincinnati area in over four decades, after 11 people died in a pre-show stampede in 1979. The Who will take the stage at the TQL Stadium on May 15, WCPO-TV reported Monday.The band’s return was originally planned for April 2020 at the BB&T Arena in Kentucky, but had to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Yossman Quintessa Swindell and Esai Morales have been tapped to star in Paul Schrader’s “Master Gardener.”They will join Sigourney Weaver and Joel Edgerton in the film, which Schrader writes and directs.Schrader, who is known for “Taxi Driver” and “First Reformed,” recently wrote and directed “The Card Counter,” starring Oscar Isaac.“Master Gardener” revolves around Narvel Roth (played by Edgerton), a horticulturist who tends to a beautiful and historic estate owned by wealthy dowager Mrs Haverhill (played by Weaver).

He replaces originally announced Ramin Bahrani ahead of the series’ start of production.
