The Queen's Commonwealth Trust, of which Queen Elizabeth II is patron, Prince Harry is president, and Meghan Markle is vice president, tweeted support for Black Lives Matter Monday, as protests sparked by the murder of George Floyd by white police officer Derek Chauvin continue across the U.S.

The summer of 2020 has been unlike other summers Queen Elizabeth II has spent in her 68 years of reign. The Coronavirus outbreak in the United Kingdom not only forced to Royal family to cancel all the summer engagements but it also led to the Queen and Prince Philip to quarantine and lockdown at the Windsor Castle.

Congratulations are in order for Georgina Beyer who has been made a Member of the Order of the New Zealand Merit in the Queen’s Birthday honours. 

The trust, which is overseen by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry, and Duchess Meghan Markle, took to social media to share a message of support to those who are protesting and demanding justice following the killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black Americans at the hands of police officers.

"My grandmother used to play quite a bit of music, so I would hear something there," Prince Charles said.

Prince Harry will struggle much more while trying to settle into his new life in Los Angeles than Meghan Markle ever did in the U.K., one royal author is claiming. Tom Quinn, a royal journalist who recently spoke to palace insiders for a new book titled “Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle,” appeared on a Channel 5 special in the U.K.
