‘Pulp Fiction’ stars reunite at the Oscars

Jada Pinkett Smith stepped out for her first public appearance since the 94 annual Academy Awards. On Saturday, the 50-year-old dazzled in a gold gown as she supported creator, Shonda Rhimes at the grand opening of the Rhimes Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. Pinkett Smith was all smiles as she stood next to Debbie Allen and Rhimes and stunned in a gold haltered gown. In another picture, the women posed next to Samuel L.

Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman are set to star together in new thriller The Kill Room.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is a “darkly comic” crime story, which will follow a hitman, his boss (Jackson), and an art dealer (Thurman).

John Travolta is showing support to his "good friend" Bruce Willis after Willis' aphasia diagnosis was announced by his family Wednesday. In a new OnePoll survey of 1,000 Americans, 63% said they expect to watch next year’s Oscars because of the Will Smith and Chris Rock feud.To increase viewership and ratings at an otherwise snoozefest, the Academy attempted to cut down on runtime — despite still running late — by pre-recording eight categories: Documentary Short, Film Editing, Makeup/Hairstyling, Original Score, Production Design, Animated Short, Live-action Short and Sound.As per usual, the Academy was met with negativity, this time for cutting award recipients because of time — but the drama was overshadowed by the main event: Smith slapping Rock onstage.Nearly one in 10 people surveyed only tuned into Hollywood’s biggest night post-slap, according to the poll, as news circulated online, bolstering ratings.While people everywhere weighed in on the baffling altercation, others were quick to create memes and crack jokes online, making the buzzworthy moment even more of a smash.The results of the poll also showed that the slap was a hit, now topping the list of most shocking Oscars moments, with 35% of the votes.

John Travolta is adding a new four-legged friend to his family. The  actor took to Instagram Monday to reveal that his son, Ben, 11, adopted the adorable dog that Jamie Lee Curtis held onstage during the Oscars' «In Memoriam» segment on Sunday.Curtis was celebrating the life of the late Betty White, when she announced that the dog, named Mac-N-Cheese, was available for adoption in honor of White, who was a known animal lover.«She was not only a Golden Girl, she was a legend who brightened every room she walked in and brought a smile to the faces of all who watched her on the screen,» Curtis said.

The ceremony’s organizers also received backlash after they announced that they will not require guests to show proof of vaccination.
