Prince William and Prince Harry have released a joint statement about their late mother’s statue that will be installed next year (on what should have been her 60th birthday). The statue will sit in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace, where Diana lived before she died.

There’s no feud to be seen when it comes to Prince Harry and William’s Princess Diana tribute. The Duke of Sussex, 35, and the Duke of Cambridge, 38, came together for a rare joint statement about their plans to honor their late mother on August 28, marking the first time the brothers have spoken publically together in months.

But Harry and his older brother William, 38, have now joined forced once again to announce a new statue of their mother, Princess Diana, which will be unveiled on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Prince Harry and Prince William may be on opposite sides of the globe right now, but they are still working hard to honor their late mother Princess Diana's legacy. On Friday, Kensington Palace revealed new details on the statue the brothers commissioned in Diana's honor. The Palace announced that the statue will be installed on July 1, 2021, on what would have been Diana's 60th birthday.

Princes William and Harry are said to have not spoken for two months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step down as senior royals. In fact, it's claimed by the author of explosive book, Finding Freedom, Omid Scobie, that the brothers barely communicate now and that their relationship "will take time to heal".The author made the claims in a TV interview with Kate Thornton for a TV show called Royal Beat on royal-related TV subscription service, True Royalty TV, reports The Sun.
