Meghan Markle just wrapped her farewell tour and returned to Canada this week. Sources informed international publications that the soon-to-be-ex Duchess of Sussex was in a hurry to head back to her new home due to Archie. The former Suits star had left her almost one-year-old son with her best friend Jessica Mulroney. While royal fans are curious about Meghan and Harry's future in Canada, a new report now sheds light on Meghan and Archie's routine since the time the royals have left the UK. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the Queen for a church service, marking the first public reunion after the Megxit announcement. In January 2020, the couple announced that they are stepping down as senior members of the royal family, following which Meghan moved to Canada to be with her son.

But over on Vancouver Island, Canada, where the couple are living with ten-month-old Archie, their neighbours are waging a war of their own, refusing to back down and forming a united front against the rest of the world. 

Prince Harry’s pal is alleging the Duke of Sussex’s last round of official engagements in the U.K. before stepping down has been “an emotional time” and “very hard for the loving and loyal royal.” The 35-year-old left his wife Meghan Markle and their nine-month-old son Archie behind in Canada to embark on his final round of official duties last week.

It's not looking like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie, will be making the trip back to his birthplace this month when his mother joins his father in the United Kingdom. ET has learned that 9-month-old Archie is expected to remain in Canada while his parents fulfill their last duties as senior members of the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit has been a truly complicated situation. While Harry and Meghan have, of course, undoubtedly faced the most stress throughout the ordeal, the Queen has to come in a close second in the "who has the biggest royal exit-related headache" contest.

A lot is going to change for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once they officially drop their royal status. Last month, Harry and Meghan announced that they have decided to step down as senior members of the royal family.

Welp, now that after fleeing from , I guess it's fair that they'll start getting treated like true non-royals, right? In addition to and their , Meghan and Harry will also be losing their government protection in Canada, too.
