Sources informed international publications that the soon-to-be-ex Duchess of Sussex was in a hurry to head back to her new home due to Archie. The former Suits star had left her almost one-year-old son with her best friend Jessica Mulroney. While royal fans are curious about Meghan and Harry's future in Canada, a new report now sheds light on Meghan and Archie's routine since the time the royals have left the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in the United Kingdom to carry out their final engagements as working royals. Over the weekend, Queen Elizabeth took advantage of the couple's proximity and personally invited them to attend church with her.

ET has learned that 9-month-old Archie is expected to remain in Canada while his parents fulfill their last duties as senior members of the royal family.

According to the British paper, the Duchess of Sussex will once again leave her and Harry's 9-month-old son behind in Canada when she returns to London to make several scheduled appearances. 

Welcome back, Prince Harry! The 35-year-old Duke of Sussex returned to the U.K. — Edinburgh, Scotland, to be precise — on Tuesday. This is his first time back in the U.K. in more than a month after Harry reunited with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie, in Canada, where the family currently resides. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the United Kingdom for the Commonwealth Day service, which they will attend alongside fellow members of the royal family.It's believed that Harry will travel ahead of Meghan, so that he can host a summit in Scotland this week.The prince has already shown his commitment to the Travalyst initiative, which encourages eco-friendly travel.
