Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to visit the UK next month, travelling to Manchester for the One Young World Summit before the WellChild Awards on September 8.The couple will also be visiting Germany in the middle. And GB royal news reporter Cameron Walker has revealed that it is very likely the couple will be accompanied by a Netflix film crew.
Earlier this year, the royal pair signed a multi-million pound deal with the streaming service to make a docu-series called At Home With The Sussexes, and it's understood that filming is still ongoing. During a segment on GB News, host Rosie Wright asked Cameron: "One of the questions that has come in from a GB News viewer and listener, this morning, is saying 'isn't this all about their documentary?'.
She asked him: "Will they be filming whilst they are here?" To which Mr Walker replied: "I would be very surprised if the Netflix crew was not trailing them.The Netflix deal [was] reportedly worth around 80 million pounds to have, kind of, exclusive rights, up close and personal, to everything the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been doing over the last year." He added: "Harry's argument is that that is to pay for his own police protection [whilst in the UK]. [Also] there's talk of, perhaps, they will visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge or, indeed, Her Majesty The Queen, because they'll all be staying in Windsor at the time that week." Harry and Meghan have been filming at their $14million mansion in Montecito, California, for the series, set to be part of their £112 million deal with Netflix.
