Carol McGiffin and her husband Mark Cassidy look relaxed and absolutely besotted with each other during our gorgeous exclusive shoot in the south of France. When we catch up – in a vineyard at the Hotel Saint Vincent in Saint-Tropez, an hour and a half away from their home – they are the first to admit that outspoken Carol and softly spoken Mark are like chalk and cheese.

During our stunning shoot with Carol McGiffin and her husband Mark Cassidy in the south of France, Carol, 64, opened up on a range of topics in her typically outspoken manner - including her former Loose Women colleagues. Carol left the show last April, but explained that there are some current and former panellists with whom she happily stays in touch regularly, including Denise Welch, Kaye Adams and Jane Moore. And, asked about another friend and former colleague Ruth Langsford, who it was revealed last month is set to divorce from her husband Eamonn Holmes, Carol told OK! that she was very saddened to hear of their shock split and in a four-word statement said "I love them both" - but explained that she had not yet reached out to her friend as she didn’t want to overwhelm her, or add to any of the 'noise' surrounding their separation.

Love Island fans warned - show will not air at 9pm tonight

Love Island will not air at 9pm tonight in an extremely rare move - with viewers warned not to tune in at the usual time. The popular show was shunted out of the slot it has occupied on ITV2 for nearly a decade, with music comedy Pitch Perfect 3 showing in its place.Tonight's action from the villa will air at the later time of 10pm instead and end at 11.05pm.The culprit, as so often in TV schedule shake-ups is football, with England vs Slovenia's Euro 2024 game airing over on ITV1 from 6.45pm with kick-off live from Germany at 8pm.The move means that fans of both tournament football and Love Island will be able to watch both - and makes sure the dating show doesn't suffer a dip in ratings from viewers deciding to watch the Group C match instead. Other TV big-hitters affected tonight include Emmerdale, which will not air at all on Tuesday, and The One Show, which is on for just 20 minutes on BBC Two.

‘Prayer for the French Republic,’ ‘Appropriate’ Among Tony Nominees Tackling Antisemitism, Racism and More Social Issues

Gordon Cox Theater Editor Live theater always reflects the moment in which it’s presented, but this season, Broadway charged head-on into the politics of today with unusual force: A play that directly addressed antisemitism, Israel and Gaza opened barely two months after the events of Oct. 7; climate protestors interrupted a 140-year-old drama about the threat of environmental calamity, and an onstage chronicle of Vladimir Putin’s rise to power opened even as the Russian invasion of Ukraine rolled into its third year.
