‘Powerpuff’ Adds Nicholas Podany As Mojo Jojo Jr. To CW’s Live-Action Reboot Pilot

Casey Wasserman today unveiled Wasserman Music, an amalgamation of his existing business that has been bolstered by the acquisition of Paradigm Talent Agency’s North American live music representation business. The deal has been in the works for a while.

Vin Diesel will develop and is also attached to star in a live-action “Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots” movie, based on the classic tabletop game featuring battling robots for Universal and Mattel.Diesel will develop via his One Race Films banner.

The Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots movie is becoming a reality. Mattel Films, Universal and Vin Diesel are teaming for a live-action feature take on the classic tabletop boxing robots game. Diesel will star in the movie and produce with his One Race Films label and partner Samantha Vincent.

Powerpuff Girls.The trio of super-powered sisters are set to return as “disillusioned twenty-somethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting” after the animated series left screens in 2005.The new series, simply titled Powerpuff, was announced back in February, and will see Chloe Bennet star as Blossom, alongside Dove Cameron (Bubbles) and Yana Perrault (Buttercup)Rounding out the cast are Donald Faison as their father Professor Drake Utonium, Nicholas Podany as villain Mojo

After giving fans a sneak peek into the first day of the Powerpuff Girls live action shoot, director Maggie Kiley dropped the first official look of the beloved girls Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Based on the Cartoon Network series created by Craig McCracken, the new series sees the pint-sized superheroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting.
