Pop Smoke Arrested on Federal Charge for Transportation of Stolen Rolls-Royce

Sharon Van Etten is back with a new single. It’s called “Beaten Down,” and it’s accompanied by a new music video directed by Nicky and Juliana Giraffe. The visual features Van Etten and dancers Allison and Veronica Huber. “Our goal was to create a striking and psychedelic video set in the California desert, a welcoming of Sharon’s next chapter here,” the Giraffes said in a statement. Next week, New York-based electronic composer Nicolas Jaar will revisit his Against All Logic alias for a new album called 2017 – 2019. In preparation of the project's February 7 release, Jaar has shared a new two-song EP featuring “Alucinao,” a collaboration with FKA twigs.

Mac Miller’s posthumous album, Circles, is all but devoid of guest features, but there may be one famous voice hidden on the album: Ariana Grande. Pop Smoke was arrested at JFK International Airport on Friday morning on a federal charge of interstate transport of a stolen Rolls-Royce. An arraignment has been set for Friday afternoon at the Brooklyn Federal Court.
