Police have sealed off a road in Edinburgh after a pedestrian was struck by a lorry earlier this evening.
Officers closed Wheatfield Road in the Gorgie area of the city shortly before 5pm following the collision, with both vehicles and pedestrians diverted elsewhere.
The condition of the pedestrian is unknown.
Edinburgh Live reports several police vehicles and an ambulance were captured on camera by a local resident.
