Police have released CCTV images of a man hunted after a pub-goer was battered in the toilets of a cocktail bar in Edinburgh. Officers were called to the boozer on the capital's Forrest Road after receiving reports of a disturbance at 10.05pm on February 3.
Medics attended and on arrival, another man was found with a serious facial injury. His current condition is unknown.
Meanwhile, officers believe the man pictured in the CCTV footage can assist them with their enquiries into the bar attack. He is described as being of a large build, in his 40s, with a Glaswegian accent and has short, shaved hair that is receding at the front.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt with 'Boss' written on the front in white and grey writing, with dark trousers.
Detective Constable Chris Stewart, Edinburgh Division, said: “I would urge this man or anyone who knows him to please make contact with us. I would also ask anyone who witnessed the assault, or anyone with information relating to the incident, to please speak to officers via 101, quoting reference 4058 of February 3.”
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
