Police have raced to reports of a tree smashing into a Scots home in the capital on Saturday.
The nightmare incident took place at around 10.20am on May 25 at Cairnmuir Road in Edinburgh.
Several Scottish Fire and Rescue Service officers attended the incident alongside Police Scotland who put a cordon in place that closed off the road.
Many concerned residents took to social media to alert others to find alternate routes if they were planning on accessing Corstorphine Hill Woods via the Cairnmuir Road car park.
It is understood that the SFRS sent two fire engines to the scene but left shortly after arriving as the incident is being managed by Edinburgh City Council and Police Scotland.
