Police have issued an update after a cyclist was killed in a crash with a HGV near the Trafford Centre on Thursday evening (August 10).
The collision, at the roundabout at Ellesmere Circle, Trafford Park, was reported at around 5.10pm with emergency services racing to the scene during rush hour.
The collision caused a 58-year-old man 'to come off his bicycle' before he was later pronounced dead in hospital around an hour later.

A 77-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. In a new update, Greater Manchester Police said the suspect has now been released on bail.
After the fatal collision, a huge cordon was put in place with officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) also at the scene conducting investigations.
Sergeant Phill Collingwood from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said previously: "This was a devastating incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life.
"The accident occurred in the middle of rush hour at a very busy roundabout in Trafford Park, not far from the Trafford Centre. As such, we believe that there will be a number of people who may have either witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage of the area at, or around, 5.10pm last night.
"We would also like to hear from any of the businesses in the area that may have CCTV footage covering the area. If you can help, please contact us on 0161 856 4741 quoting log number 2713 – 10082023. Information can also be passed by contacting 101."
