Armed police have descended on a busy north Manchester shopping park after reports of a 'man with a gun'.

Police have found a shotgun in a churchyard in Gorton.
Officers discovered the weapon in the grounds of St James Church on Wellington Street yesterday (Thursday).
A number of police vehicles and Tactical Aid Unit vans were stationed at the scene as the search was carried out.
It has not been confirmed by GMP whether the shotgun was loaded.
