Police cordoned off two crashed cars after 'men with baseball bats' were spotted on a Stockport street.
Officers were called to the scene on Hallam Street at around 6.30pm today (Monday).
They were called to reports of a crash and 'males with baseball bats' spotted near to the Premier Inn on nearby Buxton Road, a spokesperson for GMP said.
The males had fled the scene by the time police had arrived.

Glasgow street was brought to a standstill as groups of men battered vehicles with baseball bats. The incident on Castlemilk's Carmunnock Road was caught on camera as the two groups appear to be targeting two black cars.In the footage, men can be seen hitting a car at force with weapons - prompting men from inside the vehicle to get out.
