Police have closed a road in Glenrothes after a pedestrian was struck by a car in a ‘serious’ crash.
Officers raced to Formonthills Road after reports of the collision at around 8.30pm this evening.
The road was closed between Pitcoudie Roundabout and Ballingall Drive while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police Scotland confirmed that an ‘injured party’ has been taken to hospital following the crash.
The extent of their injuries remains unclear.
