A man has been arrested after reports of a person attempting to throw “suspected bleach” at cars on a busy main road in north Manchester.Police were called to Ashton New Road, in Clayton, at around 4.30pm this afternoon (August 11).Their attendance followed reports that a man was “attempting to throw suspected bleach at nearby cars”.Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of affray.The incident is understood to have unfolded on the busy main road, close to the Aldi supermarket.A Greater

Police and paramedics raced to the scene in Carntyne after being alerted at 3.40am and the victim was taken to the city’s Royal Infirmary for treatment.
