Alex Nicholls, 25, drove on the wrong side of the road, through red traffic lights and at speeds of up to 100mph in a 30mph zone, as he tried to escape police.The chase lasted around 14 minutes before police managed to box Nicholls in, causing his car to collide with a police vehicle.Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court heard that as the chase came to an end, Nicholls was seen throwing small blue bags out of his car window.
