Police were called to reports of a drunk man sneezing on people and telling them he has coronavirus.
Officers in south Manchester said the man thought he was being ‘amusing’ but described the call as a waste of their limited resources.
In a post on the Greater Manchester Police Facebook page for Fallowfield, Withington, Levenshulme and Burnage, an Inspector said the incident was a ‘disappointing’ example of members of the public ‘using the pandemic to scare others’.
