Salford after reports of a serious crash involving a pedestrian. Police were called to Worsley Road at 7.30pm on Tuesday (January 26) to reports of a collision.A cordon has been in place between Walker Road and the Stablefold for a number of hours.Seven police cars are at the scene and have marked the road with orange cones and police tape.Officers from the Serious Collision Unit are investigating what has happened.Worsley Road has been closed and diversions are in place.

in Salford.  Officers were called to Bury Old Road at around 7.40pm on Friday, January 1. The caller reported a fail-to-stop collision, GMP said. Cops established a vehicle hit a teenager, near the junction with Singleton Road. The white car did not stop at the scene. The pedestrian, a 16-year-old, suffered 'minor injuries'.
