A man tried to stop thieves from nicking his car while he was looking to buy a new one in a Rutherglen showroom.
The theft happened on Glasgow Road at around 3.20pm on Thursday.
Police said the man parked his silver Renault Megane near to the showroom. As he was looking onto the forecourt, his car was stolen. The man tried to prevent the thieves from stealing his car but he was unsuccessful.
The force said there is limited information on the thieves The suspects, however, may have had a heavy build
