2019 Oscar-nominated “The Edge of Democracy” filmmaker Petra Costa and Switzerland’s Visions du Réel Film Festival weren’t going to let a global pandemic stop them from hosting a highly anticipated masterclass on Thursday.
For nearly three hours the filmmaker fielded questions from moderators Delphine Jeanneret of the Geneva University of Art and Design, Giona Nazzaro, member of the selection committee for Visions du Réel, and an eager audience of streamers around the world.

Daniel Radcliffe, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning and more will read “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the first of J.K. Rowling’s classic series, out loud from home in quarantine.”
Daniel Radcliffe is returning to the Harry Potter universe to read chapter one of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” also known in the UK as “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” Daniel starred as Harry Potter in all the films that were released in the early 2000s.
Francesca Mazzoleni’s “Puntasacra,” Francisco Bermejo’s “The Other One” and Nick Brandestini’s “Sapelo” scooped the top prizes in the three major sections at Switzerland’s Visions du Réel prize ceremony Sunday night, held online as the whole of the documentary festival.
St Johnstone fans are already calling for the introduction of “The Tommy Wright Stand” at McDiarmid Park.
