The Mirror. Though wool and copper are traditional to mark seven years of marriage, Peter said he spotted the ‘beautiful’ diamond ring a few months previously. In his column for OK!, Peter revealed that he wanted to celebrate being together.

He added: “I know it’s not about presents, it’s about us being together and marking a milestone, but why not?”Always proud of his family, Peter also explained that he enlisted the help of his older children to watch the younger ones, while he whisked Emily away for a child-free date night. Peter said: “Emily and I had an amazing time celebrating our seventh wedding anniversary.
We went out for a quick dinner, just the two of us, and we were laughing the whole time. ”“Princess has been doing a bit of babysitting for us, but only when Junior is home. She loves it, but then Junior says, ‘Well if I’m home too, why aren’t I getting paid for babysitting.
’”Last week, on their wedding anniversary, Peter shared loving images of his NHS doctor wife, saying she ‘had a heart of pure gold’. This is far from the first time Peter has shown the world what a loving family man he is. On Sunday, the proud dad shared footage of his adorable son playing basketball in their home in Surrey.
