Pete Davidson is being charged after crashing into a home in Beverly Hills back in March.
On March 4, the 29-year-old Bupkis actor was driving at a high speed and lost control of the car, causing it to jump the curb, hit a fire hydrant, and crash into the side of a house.
Pete‘s girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders was in the car with him at the time of the crash, presumably in the passenger seat. Luckily no one was injured.
On Friday (June 16), Pete was officially charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving.

“We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home,” the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office shared in a statement with ET. “Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision.”
“We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences,” the statement continued. “In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
If you missed it, Pete recently left an expletive-filled voicemail for PETA. Find out why.
Pete‘s arraignment is scheduled for July 27.
