However Michael Reid, aged 55, failed to convince a jury and was sentenced to nine months behind bars.
Preston Crown Court heard how Reid, from Whalley, Lancashire, was using the poolside changing rooms when he exposed his genitals and performed an explicit act in the presence of a child, aged ten, Lancs Live reports.
