Meanwhile Chris, 35, who started hosting with Scott in 2012, is set to leave the BBC completely and join Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast.To mark the big day and give the pair the send off they deserve, they celebrated with a leaving party featuring pals Rylan Clark and Pixie Lott.

BBC Radio 1 legend Scott Mills has admitted his fear in replacing Steve Wright for his mid-afternoon Radio 2 slot next week. Catching up with OK! exclusively, the broadcaster and DJ, 49, believes he has "big shoes to fill - the biggest!" in taking over radio legend Steve, 67 - who has occupied the favourite weekday position for the last 20 years. "He's the master!" Scott said.

Steve Wright has spoken out about the drama surrounding the cancellation of his BBC Radio 2 show. The legendary DJ had returned to the airwaves on Sunday following the shock announcement his show is ending after 23 years.

There are big moves being made over in the world of BBC Radio, with both Scott Mills and Steve Wright leaving their long-running shows on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2.  Both Scott and Steve are practically part of the furniture at their respective stations but announced they would both be leaving their current afternoon shows in the months to come.  Scott, 49, currently helms the drivetime slot alongside Chris Stark, 35, who will also be exiting the station, as well as the Official Chart Show on Fridays.
