Julia MacCary editor Showtime has released the trailer for Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series “Yellowjackets,” which is accompanied by Florence + the Machine’s new cover of No Doubt’s 1995 hit “Just a Girl.” The psychological horror series follows a high school soccer team that survives a plane crash in 1996, only to be left deep in the Canadian woods. Through a mix of flashbacks and present day, the show depicts how the athletes transitioned from an elite team into a savage clan. The second season picks up two months after Shauna disregarded Jackie with bad results. The tensions have grown within the team with winter conditions intensifying, leaving the girls to make impossible decisions to survive.

Showtime has dropped another trailer for season two of Yellowjackets, which will return for its second season Friday, March 24 on streaming and on demand for subscribers. It’ll make its on-air debut Sunday, March 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

First, she'll reprise her fan-favorite role as Mindy Meeks-Martin in, which moves the action from Woodsboro to New York City as she and the other returning survivors face off with Ghostface once again, before appearing as Taissa Turner in the second season of the hit Showtime series. While speaking with ET's Rachel Smith, the 28-year-old star teased what's in store for both projects. «I'm not prepared for what's to come… I can't even get into it,» Brown says when asked about the second season of, which premieres at the end of March, just weeks after the theatrical debut of on March 10. While she'll be seen trying to survive another encounter with a masked killer during the latest installment in the slasher franchise, fans are also eagerly waiting to see what happens to Brown's character, who is one of the survivors of a plane crash that stranded her and her soccer teammates in wilderness, as winter sets in during the new episodes of the twist-filled drama series.

Yellowjackets as the adult version of Van, Showtime announced Thursday.The alum will be a series regular, confirming speculation that the character — whose fate was left unclear at the end of the first season — is indeed still alive and kicking. Actress Liv Hewson, who played the teen version of Van, has also been promoted to series regular for season 2.Filming on the new season goes into production in Vancouver later this month.Back in February, ET connected with Hewson and co-star Tawny Cypress, who plays the adult version of Taissa, about their characters' budding romance and the prospects of an adult Van joining the fray.“Taissa’s marriage seems to be in shambles,” Cypress said, referring to Taissa’s estranged wife, Simone (Rukiya Bernard), in the present day. “It’d be really fun to see an adult Taissa meeting up with an adult Van and where that goes and what that history is all about.”  “Poor Simone, oh my god,” Hewson added.

Christina Ricci addressed some of the most out-there fan theories for what will happen in Season 2 of her addictive Showtime series, “Yellowjackets” on Thursday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”Despite the fact that the stranded women’s soccer team eventually turns to cannibalism to survive — a plot point still left hazy by the Season 1 finale —  Ricci debunked the popular supposition that they end up eating Shauna’s baby. While Shauna, played by Sophie Nélisse as a teen and Melanie Lynskey as an adult, does have a teenager in the contemporary storyline, her 1996 pregnancy does not match her daughter’s age, leading to rampant speculation to what happened to the baby, who would have been born before the rescue.Ricci said she’d heard of that theory and wondered if it was true, since the survivors are so traumatized by what happened in the wilderness years before.

Clayton Davis Showtime has finalized its plans on how to submit the cast of breakout hit  “Yellowjackets” for Emmy consideration — and it comes down to which generation the star is in. Variety has learned exclusively that Showtime plans to submit Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis and Melanie Lynskey in the lead drama actress field.

Brody plays a once-celebrated kid detective who is now 31 and isn’t exactly bathing in fame.

We’ve just been sent in details for the home release of genre sequel 47 Meters Down: Uncaged which is set for the usual formats in the new year. The film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, The Strangers: Prey at Night) and arrives on DVD and digital from 3rd February.
