The remaining members of Fountains of Wayne will reunite for their first live performance in seven years to pay tribute to their late band member Adam Schlesinger, who passed away earlier this month due to complications from COVID-19.The band’s Chris Collingwood, Jody Porter and Brian Young will be joined by Sharon Van Etten to fill in on bass and backing vocals at the Jersey 4 Jersey all-star benefit for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund that will take place April 22 at 7 p.m.

Sharon Van Etten has postponed her 2020 spring tour. In a post on Instagram, Van Etten announced that her April tour dates will be postponed “in light of COVID-19.” “Everyone’s safety and well-being is always our #1 concern, especially during this sensitive time.” she wrote. Van Etten also stated that the rescheduled dates will be announced “when it’s appropriate.” Find her full post below.

Pitchfork is celebrating 15 years of its annual music festival, and the star-studded lineup was revealed on Tuesday (Feb. 18).

The 15th annual Pitchfork Music Festival takes place Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 19 at Union Park in Chicago. The headliners are Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Run the Jewels, and the National.

The National have added North American dates to their 2020 world tour. After making appearances in Japan, Oceania, and Europe, The National will head to Shelburne, Vermont and weave their way across Canada and the northeast United States. Sharon Van Etten is back with a new single. It’s called “Beaten Down,” and it’s accompanied by a new music video directed by Nicky and Juliana Giraffe. The visual features Van Etten and dancers Allison and Veronica Huber. “Our goal was to create a striking and psychedelic video set in the California desert, a welcoming of Sharon’s next chapter here,” the Giraffes said in a statement.
