Awards season is in full gear as actors take the spotlight on Sunday. The Screen Actors Guild Awards, recognizing the best film and television performances of the year, is just an hour away.

Brown and SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris.

Scarlett Johansson was a no-show at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Friday evening. The 26th annual SAG Awards will be held Jan. 19 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and broadcast live on both TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. EST.

When it comes to awards show fashion, the Screen Actors Guild Awards is among the best. Over the last few years especially, A-listers have brought their A-games to the SAG Awards, and the evening celebrating both television and movies rarely disappoints. Cameras clicked away as a team of metal workers clad in fireproof suits, gloves and welding masks poured molten bronze – heated to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit and glowing like lava – into a container of red wax molds. Witnessed by media members, actors and the Screen Actors Guild Awards Committee, the Pouring of the Statue celebrated the elaborate process behind the annual creation of the signature SAG statuettes.
