On Friday, Netflix confirmed two bombshell pieces of news about hit show The Crown: first, that British actress and Downtown Abbey favorite Imelda Staunton will play The Queen in her later years in season five; and, in addition, that season five will be the show's last.In a statement, Staunton said: “I have loved watching The Crown from the very start. As an actor it was a joy to see how both Claire Foy and Olivia Colman brought something special and unique to Peter Morgan’s scripts.

It's almost that time of year! 

It seemed as if every star in the world had descended on LA last week for the Golden Globes. The biggest names in film and television rubbed shoulders, drank champagne and dined on an all-vegan menu. (A surprisingly tasty carrot soup, FYI.) And yet, in the clamour of the weekend, one woman proved to be firmly on the top of everyone’s must-meet list: Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge revealed Jennifer Lopez and dirty Latin as sources of inspiration for her hit award-winning series at the 25th annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday.While accepting the win for best comedy series, Waller-Bridge gave special thanks to her sister and Fleabag composer Isobel Waller-Bridge, noting that her music had "covered and elevated" the "slightly mediocre bits" of the show.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is undoubtedly on a roll. After winning big at the Emmys and Golden Globes, the British actress did not disappoint at the Critics' Choice Awards. At the awards night, Phoebe made a heartwarming speech as she picked up an award for Best Actress (Comedy) for Fleabag which also took home the Best Comedy series. However, it was Phoebe's speech that stole the show as the 34-year-old actress took a moment to thank none other than... Jennifer Lopez. Yes, you heard that right.
