Mad Cool festival have revealed the full slate of stage times for this year’s edition.Seasick Steve and Alec Benjamin will go head-to-head as the first acts to perform, both taking to their stages – the titular Mad Cool mainstage and Vibra Mahou stage, respectively – at 5:50pm on Wednesday. Royal Blood have postponed their upcoming tour dates in the UK, Ireland and France after frontman Mike Kerr tested positive for COVID-19.The two-piece played the sixth show of their latest UK tour in London last night (March 30), and had been due to perform next in Leeds tomorrow (April 1).In a statement shared on their social media channels this afternoon (March 31), Kerr confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 following last night’s London gig.“I’m heartbroken to write this, but despite being fully protected and taking precautions, I have tested positive for COVID following last night’s show at The O2,” he wrote.“This morning I’ve woken up to discover I have lost my voice. Unfortunately, this isn’t something I can ‘power through’, I currently cannot sing a single note.

Royal Blood have shared a new song titled ‘Honeybrains’ – listen below.The band initially teased the track on their social media channels yesterday (March 17), with a black-and-white clip featuring drummer Ben Thatcher writing the release date on a mirror which had the song’s title in spray paint.The full video for ‘Honeybrains’, similarly in black and white, features the duo playing the song in a room of mirrors as the visuals jerk and stutter.In a caption on social media, they wrote: “Instead of sitting on new music, waiting for it to grow old, we thought it’d be fun to let you in on what we’ve been working on over the past few weeks before we head out on our biggest tour so far! Peaky Blinders’ final series, the original soundtrack is getting a vinyl release.The 49 tracks of music and dialogue from the show’s first five seasons will be spread across three blood-red LPs.The vinyl release will feature two versions of Peaky Blinders’ iconic theme tune ‘Right Hand Red’ – the original by Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds as well as a reworked version by PJ Harvey.Other tracks included are Jack White‘s ‘Love Is Blindness’, Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Do I Wanna Know?’, Radiohead’s ‘You and Whose Army?’ and ‘Lazarus’ by David Bowie.Songs by Royal Blood, Laura Marling, The White Stripes and Queens Of The Stone Age will also appear.
