The Democratic primary process is now in full swing. Six candidates will be stating their cases to voters during the next debate on Wednesday, Feb. 19, which will take place live from the Paris Theater in Las Vegas.

(CNN) — Actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key is set to announce his support for Pete Buttigieg in Nevada on Saturday. Key is expected to appear at early voting locations Saturday before joining a canvass kick off in Las Vegas, according to the campaign.

Republicans on an Iowa House panel Monday advanced an anti-LGBTQ bill that is so extreme it would require teachers to notify parents if they plan on even mentioning Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, because he is gay. The bill, sponsored by 13 Republican lawmakers, would force educators to allow parents to opt-out of any instruction that relates to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Last night, Bernie Sanders came out on top in the New Hampshire primary, followed by Pete Buttigieg and surprise third place winner Amy Klobuchar. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah saw the senator's success as part of the bigger picture in a pretty accurate and slightly-too-real analogy.

The Iowa Democratic Party released partial results of its kickoff presidential caucus after a daylong delay late Tuesday showing former Midwestern Mayor Pete Buttigieg and progressive Vermont Sen.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Bernie Sanders held a lead in the Iowa caucus results, with about 62% of precincts reported late on Tuesday afternoon.
