The move will avoid the controversy that arose from fellow Nicole Kidman-David E. Kelley series “Big Little Lies,” which won multiple statuettes in the limited series category before a second season was announced.At this time, no casting or plot info is available about Season 2.

Where I’m not defined by tragedy.” Those words from Nicole Kidman‘s Margaret open the first trailer for Expats, Prime Video’s six-part limited series directed by Lulu Wang, based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s bestselling novel The Expatriates.

Prime Video has released first-look images of the long-awaited Lulu Wang’s limited series Expats set to be released in early 2024. The world premiere screening of its feature-length penultimate episode will take place at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8.

Hulu has officially renewed “Nine Perfect Strangers” for a second season.Nicole Kidman will return as star and executive producer, along with a new cast nearing deals to join in the Swiss Alps-set installment that includes “White Lotus” star Murray Bartlett, Liv Ullman, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Aras Aydin. Kidman stars as Masha, the lead counselor at Tranquillum House, who has her own traumatic past involving a dead daughter.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Netflix has found the main cast for the limited series adaptation of the Elin Hilderbrand novel “The Perfect Couple.” Variety has learned that Nicole Kidman has officially signed on to star in the series, as has Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Issac, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani. The show originally received its six-episode order at Netflix in August 2022. The official logline states, “Amelia Sacks (Hewson) is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman), has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”

The seven-episode HBO Max Original limited series Love & Death has released its official teaser and set an April 27 launch date.

He’s set to star alongside Nicole Kidman, Gael García Bernal and Matthew Macfadyen, whose castings were previously announced, in a role that has not been disclosed.

Kidman and Pen15 co-creator and co-lead Maya Erskine are set to star in the project, which HBO landed in a very competitive situation. Erskine is the creator and writer of the limited series, based on the book of the same name by by Leïla Slimani. Legendary Television is the co-studio with HBO.

Apple TV+ has announced premiere dates for its upcoming espionage series Slow Horses, starring Oscar winner Gary Oldman, and female-driven anthology series Roar, starring Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever and Alison Brie. Amazon Studios has acquired the rights to Norwegian film Hope for series adaptation, with Nicole Kidman attached to star and be executive produced under her Blossom Films banner. Kidman most recently received rave reviews for her performance in the hit HBO limited series The Undoing.Per Saari is also exec producing.
