Disney revealed details from the upcoming “Haunted Mansion” remake, including new cast members like Winona Ryder, Dan Levy and Hasan Minaj during Disney’s D23 Expo on Friday. “Haunted Mansion” boasts a star-studded cast, including Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, LaKeith Stanfield, Jared Leto, Tiffany Haddish, Ryder, Jamie Lee Curtis, Levy, Minaj and Danny DeVito. Justin Simien directs the supernatural comedy film, which follows Dawson’s character Gabbie, a single mom with a nine-year-old son. Looking to start a new life, Gabbie buys a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans. When they discover the mansion is haunted, Gabbie resorts to hiring a paranormal tour guide (Stanfield), a psychic (Haddish), a priest (Wilson) and a historian (DeVito) to help exorcise her newly bought mansion. The film will feature classic references to the classic Disneyland ride, including Leto’s character of the Hatbox Ghost. Curtis will also play a character named Madame Leota.

Pixar‘s “Cars” franchise may not be the most critically beloved of the animation studio’s films. However, all three movies did very well at the box office, so much so that Disney made the “Planes” spinoff movies and other “Cars” shorts.

MTV Movie & TV Awards kicked off Sunday night and celebrated the very best of entertainment in an epic night of speeches and festivities.Originally announced as a two-night event, the show was retooled to honor top favorites in both scripted and unscripted entertainment in one star-studded ceremony. Going into the big show, top nominees on the scripted side this year include with seven nods,  with six, and with four.Meanwhile, on the unscripted side,  earned four nominations, while and nabbed three apiece.

Owen Wilson was the victim of a "grand theft" incident after his tires were stolen from his Tesla parked overnight in Santa Monica last weekend.  Law enforcement officials confirmed the wheels were reported completely removed from the vehicle on Sunday, May 22.  "No one saw anything.There were no witnesses to the crime," Lieutenant Rudy Flores of the Santa Monica Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital. Total loss estimates reportedly exceeded $4,000 and officials are "checking neighborhood home security cameras for any leads" on the case.
