“Jurassic World Dominion” is upon us.Billed as the last installment in the “Jurassic” “era” (because surely there will be more films), this latest entry in the franchise that began with Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece “Jurassic Park” back in 1993, is bigger and more dinosaur-stuffed than ever. “Jurassic World: Dominion” unites the two halves of the saga, as well – with newer characters like Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) partnering up with legacy characters Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).
“Jurassic World Dominion” is now playing in theaters, and those venturing out to see the blockbuster sequel may be wondering one crucial thing: is there a post-credits scene? It’s a fair question. The last “Jurassic” film, 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” had a short post-credits scene at the end of the film that very much teed up what “Dominion” was going to be about.

“Jurassic World: Dominion” is finally here and for director Colin Trevorrow marks the end of a very long saga that began with the original “Jurassic World” back in 2015 (only his second narrative film as a director following his Sundance smash “Safety Not Guaranteed”).It was that early film that introduced the heroes of this new trilogy, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), who in the latest installment join forces with the legacy characters from “Jurassic Park” – Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), Dr.
Jurassic Park film. The characters they played, Dr Ellie Sattler and Dr Alan Grant, were in a relationship – but there was a twenty year age gap between their characters.Speaking to The Sunday Times in a new interview ahead of the release of Jurassic World: Dominion – where the pair will resume playing their original characters – the actors reflected on the age gap between their characters.“Laura was a tender age. Jurassic movie as well as him returning to the dinosaur franchise.Jurassic World Dominion, the third and final film in the Jurassic World series, is set to be released in UK and US cinemas on June 10.The sequel to 2018’s Fallen Kingdom will see Pratt star as dino-whisperer Owen Grady alongside Bryce Dallas Howard as ex Jurassic Park operations manager Claire Dearing. Almost three decades after the release of the original Jurassic Park, the sixth instalment is hitting cinemas. Ahead of its June 10 release date, Universal has dropped the trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion.
has dropped, and it oozes with pandemonium galore! Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon) are minding their own business outside their cabin on a snowy mountain when, out of nowhere, they encounter Blue — the female velociraptor which, somehow, had a baby raptor with her. That revelation sets off a chain of chaotic events that sees Pratt and the gang navigate mayhem around the world as they try their damndest to contain a «genetic power that has now been unleashed.»With the chaos unfolding at seemingly every turn, it's no wonder Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) quips, «The doomsday clock might be about out of time.»Dr.
“Jurassic World: Dominion,” which qualifies as the understatement of the year in the “Jurassic” universe. The third film in the “World” franchise and sixth “Jurassic” film overall finally sees dinosaurs unleashed and roaming free across the globe, and it’s up to the cast of both series to come together and… well we don’t know what exactly, but we presume they’re trying to save the world. This new trailer offers some insight into where Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) goes this time around, as he and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) have been harboring the young Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon) since she let the dinosaurs loose at the end of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” Now, four years after the events of the last movie, Blue has had a baby (somewhat impossibly) and that baby has been snatched up, so Owen promises to rescue this baby raptor before time runs out.Meanwhile, doctors Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are enlisted to help with this “dinosaurs run amuck” problem given their experience in the original “Jurassic Park” films.Colin Trevorrow, who directed 2015’s franchise reboot/sequel “Jurassic World” and co-wrote “Fallen Kingdom,” returns to direct and co-write “Dominion.” Emily Carmichael co-wrote the screenplay. The film features new cast members DeWanda Wise (“She’s Gotta Have It”), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (“Archive 81”), Dichen Lachman (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), Scott Haze (“Minari”) and Campbell Scott (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”).
Josh Brolin says that Chris Pratt was the right man for the job of dinosaur wrangler in “Jurassic World”.
Jurassic World Dominion may be the longest entry in the Jurassic franchise. The film, which will be released in UK and US cinemas on June 10, appears to be 17 minutes longer than The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which clocked in at two hours and nine minutes.According to Collider, the third and final film in the Jurassic World collection runs for two hours and 26 minutes, although the runtime hasn’t been officially confirmed. The first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion dropped in February, showing how humans have come to live in fear alongside dinosaurs across the world. In the clip, we see events unfolding four years after the conclusion of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). Since the establishment of a neo-Jurassic age at the end of that film – a world in which humans and dinosaurs co-exist – it’s clear that the plan has backfired and humans become dinosaurs’ prey and playthings.Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard star as dino-whisperer Owen Grady and ex Jurassic Park operations manager Claire Dearing respectively in the sequel to Fallen Kingdom. They are joined by the original Jurassic Park (1993) trio of Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill as Dr Ian Malcolm, Dr Ellie Sattler and Dr Alan Grant.
