Following his supporting role in recent seasons of HBO‘s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” actor Vince Vaughn is set to lead the comedic series “Bad Monkey” on Apple TV+, an adaptation of the Carl Hiaasen novel from “Ted Lasso” co-creator Bill Lawrence. Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, a former Miami cop currently working as a Health Inspector leading to a whodunit when a boating accident starts to unravel as a possible murder case.

Actress Michelle Monaghan has been tapped to lead a brand new psychological thriller series from Netflix that will see the actress play identical twins, who essentially swap lives as adults and leads to some terrible consequences along the way, according to the streamer.

Mónica Marie Zorrilla Michelle Monaghan has been cast to play identical twins in Netflix’s upcoming limited series “Echoes,” a psychological thriller from executive producers and co-showrunners Brian Yorkey (“13 Reasons Why”) and Quinton Peeples (“Runaways”).Per the logline, “Echoes” is a mystery thriller about two identical twins, Leni and Gina, who share a dangerous secret: Since they were children, they have secretly swapped lives, culminating in a double life as adults.

Admittedly, it’s strange to start a review with a list of complaints, but the new thriller “Every Breath You Take,” directed by Vaughn Stein, written by David Murray, and starring Casey Affleck, just begs for it. Much like how Affleck’s psychiatrist character deals with his patients, it is fitting to address the obvious issues with this film in a series of bullet points: From a technical standpoint, the film is underlit and over-edited.

The Vaughn Stein-directed psychological thriller Every Breath You Take made its theatrical premiere this weekend on 106 screens and added some coins to the specialty box office piggy bank. The film, which also landed on VOD this weekend, is on track to earn an estimated $35K with its debut.

Sadly, one of the tragic aspects of working in the psychiatric field is when a patient dies by suicide. It happens and is something that mental health workers have to experience all too often.

EXCLUSIVE: Vertical Entertainment said Monday that it has acquired North American rights to Every Breath You Take, a psychological thriller directed by Vaughn Stein that stars Casey Affleck, Sam Claflin, Michelle Monaghan, Veronica Ferres and India Eisley. The pic will now get a U.S. theatrical release and Premium VOD bow on April 2.
