K.J. Yossman “Mamma Mia!” star Dominic Cooper has joined the second season of U.K. police drama “Suspect.” Fronted by Anne-Marie Duff (“Bad Sisters”), “Suspect” tells the story of bereaved psychotherapist Dr Susannah Newman (Duff) as she tries to track down a serial killer before he strikes again.

It has been a decade since Shameless ended and some of the cast have drastically transformed - but none more though than child star Elliott Tittensor who played young tearaway Carl Gallagher.The Channel 4 hit show was a fan favourite from 2004 before ending in 2013 and followed the misadventures and lives of the Gallagher family and their notorious neighbours, based in Manchester. Elliott and his real-life twin brother, Luke, 33, played Carl, the child thug with a thirst for trouble and drama, alongside boozy alcoholic dad Frank Gallagher (David Threlfall), long-suffering older sister and head of the family Fiona (Anne-Marie Duff) and brothers Lip (Jody Latham) and Ian (Gerard Kearns).

From “Catastrophe” to “Motherland” to “Shining Vale,” Horgan’s cornered an enviable market that almost always delivers, especially when it comes to the ins and outs of being a smart woman in an increasingly dumb world.

Eve Hewson stunned in a semi-sheer dress as she joined elegant Sharon Horgan at the Bad Sisters premiere in London on Thursday.  The actresses were joined by their co-star Anne-Marie Duff alongside the rest of the cast at the BFI Southbank cinema.  The daughter of U2 star Bono and his activist wife Ali Hewson, Eve, 31, looked sensational as she layered the bedazzled number over a crop top.

Anne-Marie Duff has said she felt “all kinds of responsibilities” to victims of domestic abuse while filming her upcoming Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters. The actress stars in the dark comedy as Grace, a woman trapped in a controlling marriage until her husband, played by Danish actor Claes Bang, dies suddenly in mysterious circumstances. Fingers are pointed at her four sisters, played by stars including Eva Birthistle and Sharon Horgan, who is also the show’s creator.

Bad Sisters. But trust me, it’s not as malicious as it sounds because it’s entirely obvious the only way Eve could murder you is with a good time, fueled by Guinness…unlike her latest character, who would actually murder you. “The first episode is when you have to introduce the characters, introduce the world, and blah blah blah, but it gets so bonkers as it goes on. There were so many days where we were almost peeing our pants laughing,” she adds, speaking to me via Zoom from her New York abode.Bonkers is the tone of the day, in fact.

And when that ended, I had to look for something else. They’re quite big shoes to fill – you’ve got to love it, because it’s an awful lot of work.

Shameless had a devoted legion of fans when it first debuted on Channel 4 in 2003 and quickly became a household name in British comedy.

Sharon Horgan’s first series for Apple TV+, an adapting of the Belgian version of Clan, will be titled Bad Sisters. The previously untitled project, co-written, executive produced by and starring Horgan (Catastrophe, Shining Vale), also announced Anne-Marie Duff (Suffragette), Eva Birthistle (Brooklyn), Sarah Greene (Frank of Ireland) and Eve Hewson (Behind her Eyes) as Horgan’s co-leads and released a first-look image of the quintet as the title characters (above).
